ABOUT US:

EMVEM is a recycling/craft and interior decoration outfit dedicated to converting waste materials into commercially viable products, utilizing environmentally friendly recycling and manufacturing methods. The outfit is founded by some friends.

Our aim is to use technology, craft art, style and inspiration to change our living culture. We intend to create inspirational/aspirational lifestyle products made in parts using post – consumer waste. We plan to take recycling to the next level by giving people the opportunity to transform discarded waste into useful functional and fashionable objects.

          With EMVEM products, consumers will be able to have beautifully designed items made with recycled materials. Another aim of this initiative / project is to create awareness around “RECYCLING” and the importance of keeping our homes and environments clean, safe, friendly and healthy.

          At EMVEM we don’t just care for the environment but also for the people living in it. With our initiative, there is an enormous potential for everyone from students and home crafters to artist and innovators to feel more direct connection with recycling and think of it as an integral part of creating something new. It’s not just about making an object at home; it’s about making a change in the way we think about “RECYCLING”.

          We intend to use our efficient operating systems and innovative ideas to offer clients solutions to managing waste as a resource.

          We ensure EMVEM becomes an interactive and exciting center for the arts, making sure arts and craft takes center stage. We also have the intentions of partnering with residents, the public, private sector as well as the government to promote a clean, green, friendly and healthy environment.

          EMVEM will initially be involved in the recycling of urban / municipal waste materials such as pet bottles (plastic), glass bottles, pvc (plumbing pipes), used spoon and forks, cartons, old paint containers, old fabrics, mayonnaise/bama bottles, woods, old floor mop – sticks, wine bottle corks or lids, coconut Shells etc.

          We also accept old musical instruments, old computers and other e-waste (electronic waste) and other home appliances.
